The three Democratic candidates for Attorney General met virtually on May 23rd for a debate about a wide range of issues that are central to the AG office and state government. Moderated by Boston Globe Editorial Page Editor Renée Loth, the forum provided a platform Andrea Campbell, Shannon Liss-Riordan, and Quentin Palfrey to showcase their policies and perspectives. As Chris Van Buskirk writes in MassLive, the three candidates “sparred over outside spending by third parties and legalized safe injection sites,” as well as prison reform, environmental justice, and government accountability.
Kudos to Renée Loth for a master class in debate moderation.
The AG Forum was co-hosted by Boston Ward 1, 15, and 18 Democratic Committees.
