Announcing Our Latest Endorsements! Sharon Durkan for City Council, The Future of Clean Heat Act, and Municipal Reforestation Program Act

At our June 20th meeting, the Ward 4 Dems made resounding endorsements of one candidate and two environmentally focused acts currently making their way through the Massachusetts Legislature.

Sharon Durkan is running for Boston City Council’s District 8 seat. Members spoke enthusiastically about Sharon’s deep background and acumen in Boston politics, collaborative skills, and clear commitment to serving the interests of our communities.

The votes to endorse both the Future of Clean Heat and Municipal Reforestation legislation followed presentations by Marilyn Rae Smith and Ed Woll (Gas Transition Allies) at our May meeting.
