The Ward 4 Dems welcomed Rory Millark, Political and Field Director for Reproductive Equity Now, at its July 18th meeting. After presenting an overview of the organization’s comprehensive approach to reproductive health, Ms. Millard identified the 2023-24 state legislative session priority bills:
- Full Spectrum Pregnancy Care
- Birthing Justice in the Commonwealth
- MassHealth Coverage for Doula Care
- Common Start
- Budget Priority: CPC Public Education Campaign
- Location Shield Act
She also pointed to a number of action items, including:

In addition, she urged members to advocate in the community by proudly using the word abortion and gender-inclusive language. And:
