Mayor Wu Kicks Off Cross-Ward Collaboration

Ward 4 Co-chairs Ryan Hatcher and Carol Lasky attended the inaugural meeting of the Mayor’s Cross-Ward initiative on May 2nd. The program is intended to spark conversations and partnerships between Boston’s ward committees. “Ward committees can help us grab the energy from the community and imagine what’s possible,” the Mayor commented in her welcoming remarks. Also attending the mixer were Nigel Simon from the MassDems and Brianna Millor, Chief of Community Engagement.

Ryan and Carol had an opportunity to showcase Ward 4’s Scholarship Program as an example of purpose-driven democratic engagement.
