The Boston Public Library (BPL) has launched its annual BPL Spice Bank, in collaboration with the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB)—and the Ward 4 Dems are on board! Donated spices and dried herbs will be distributed to families and individuals across Eastern Massachusetts.
With the Spice Drive, the BPL hopes to offer a way to maintain a sense of cultural identity and family traditions, encourage creative and nutritious cooking, and promote the abundant cultural diversity of Massachusetts.
Unopened spices and dried herbs will be collected at Ward 4’s annual Holiday Party on Tuesday, December 19th at Kings Back Bay.
