Endorsement Alert! The Boston WardWorks Alliance

The Boston Ward 4 Democratic Committee is a founding member of a citywide, grassroots coalition of leaders and members of local Democratic ward committees united to demand accountability from the party and its elected officials. According to the Boston WardWorks Alliance mission statement, “Through collective action, public service, and mutual support, we aim increase citizen engagement, learn from each other, strengthen organizational capacity, and amplify progressive Democratic Party values as mandates for change.”

Since the Alliance’s first convening in March, we have mobilized to support—and oppose—actions on the local, state, national, and state party levels. We hosted the first Boston Mayoral Forum of the 2025 election season in May and a Boston City Council At-Large Forum in June.

The Boston WardWorks Alliance recently announced its members’ endorsements for Mayor Michelle Wu and several candidates running for the four At-Large seats on the City Council.

Our tagline: You can’t spell FORWARD without WARD.
