Early Voting
Early voting will take place from Saturday, October 25, through Friday, October 31.
In Ward 4, the best location is the Boston Architectural College (951 Boylston St), which will be an Early Voting location on both Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Voting By Mail
Applications to request a vote-by-mail ballot must be received by 5 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, for the Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
If you need a new application, you can find Vote-By-Mail info here: https://www.boston.gov/departments/election/mail-voting-boston.
You can drop your ballot in a mailbox or in one of the drop boxes around the city. In Ward 4, the best drop box location is the Copley Library. You can find other locations at the link above.
All ballots must reach the Election Department or a ballot box by 8 pm on Tuesday, November 4. You can track your ballot through the state’s website. Make sure to call the Elections Department at 617-635-8683 before Election Day if you haven’t seen movement in the tracker.
Election Day
If you’re a traditionalist, you can always vote on Election Day. Just make sure you have a plan, so the day doesn’t get away from you! Polls will be open on November 4th from 7 am to 8 pm. You can find your polling place at wheredoivotema.com.
