Do your live—or attend school*—in Boston's Ward 4? Are you involved in community programs and projects that make life better in your neighborhood? Do you have a story of personal resilience to share?

We invite you to participate in the Ward 4 Dems Scholarship Program. We honor several students with monetary awards at our summer community event this August.

Boston Ward 4 Scholarship Application

To apply, students must submit short written responses to two essay questions in the language of their choice. The essays will be judged for depth and originality. Students must be currently enrolled in 9th or 10th grade.

To qualify, you must be currently enrolled in the 9th or 10th grades.
To qualify, you must attend one of the schools listed below, unless you live in Ward 4 and attend a different school.
Go to bit.ly/BostonWards to check which Ward you live in. If you don't live within Ward 4, you must attend one of the schools listed above to qualify.

Ward 4 high schools include Boston Latin School, William McKinley South End Academy, and Winsor School.

Note: Relatives of Boston Ward 4 Democratic Committee members are not eligible for the Scholarship Program. Previous awardees are also not eligible.
